Water Equity is an innovation of Water.org. It connects social impact investors in the U.S. and Europe with enterprises such as microfinance institutions (MFIs) to serve the water and sanitation needs of those in the global water crisis.
PROJECT SCOPE AND DELIVERABLES
The SIC team helped Water Equity increase their reach to investors and recommended strategies to raise more funding.
To generate our growth marketing recommendations, we spoke to Wharton professors and conducted research on best practices. We created our content deliverables and annotated bibliography through research found using academic databases.
We produced 1) an annotated bibliography of sources on the water crisis, international development, and impact investing, 2) sample blog posts for the website, and 3) a comprehensive marketing plan. These deliverables allowed WaterEquity to refine its donor strategy and establish thought leadership in the water and sanitation sphere.
